I have recently added BLINK as my home monitoring system. I have two cameras with motion sense, audio, etc. For having just installed it, I am very disappointed with the fact that I’m unable to link a usb cord to my pc and have dedicated recording space one of my pc’s hard disks AND not being able to use that same pc to view recordings without having to share/email/download manually the clips to view them separately. If the ability to create/install a pc app to sync/view live feed/record for the Windows/Linus/Mac platforms, including your already existing mobile/watch apps… And/Or… an ability to sync/record live through a web browser (still via a usb link/infra red/Bluetooth) to aid at least viewing on a pc system… would offer significant improvement and customer satisfaction.
I read on the other topic regarding pc software that this isn’t on the future road map for Blink. I’m sorry, but the Internet already boomed since the '80’s… we are nearing 2020… a whole new era which now includes IoT (Internet of Things)… no longer just internet for people to communicate, but NOW DEVICES using the Internet to communicate with each other ALSO, along with people using the internet.
If you’re not willing to hear your customers and keep up with the times regarding your services and software… People WILL seek other solutions that WILL offer what they need. You should SERIOUSLY consider getting this on your ROAD MAP sooner rather than later.
