So, this is our third camera for the front door. I understand I could have purchased a Ring Doorbell for what I’m about to explain but I really love that I can place the Blink XT2 camera at any angle I want to capture the best view. With that being said, I’m wondering what is the point of two-way talk (my favorite feature!!) on the Blink XT2 if you receive the motion notification AFTER motion has ended. It would be nice to receive a notification IMMEDIATELY when motion is detected to be able to live-view to talk with someone at the door. It also should not stop from recording just because I want to live-view. If I live-view, the camera should be able to record on internal memory and upload to the cloud after motion and live-view has ended. But at the very least, if I can’t live-view AND record at the same time, then I should be able to disarm recording but still have motion detection notifications on. Does that make sense? If I’m not home, I’d like to be notified that someone is at the front door and have the ability to communicate with them.
