The Blink IOS AP is telling me a mandatory update is needed , but it will not update?

I use the IOS AP manager to update. When I press UPDATE I get:

Cannot Update App
Blink Home Monitor cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID.

I’ve only had one Apple ID ever, and it was the one used to install this App. And how can a free App get refunded?

In 2+ years of being on this forum, this is the 1st time I have ever read this subject about Apple ID locking out Blink. Anybody with IOS ever run across this problem?

What happened when you called tech support?
