I guarantee you notification times for various events differ with different users. Why? Because each customer has a different network setup, different network provider, etc. However, my example below shows simply plain WRONG results for notification alerts.
For grins, I unplugged my sync module to test offline notification. I was notified in the app that is was offline via the sync to cloud icon had a red diagonal line through it. However notification from the app popping up on my phone did not happen after 10 minutes. I quit timing it as the fault of no notificatiion was too long aka unacceptable. After my test, I plugged the sync module back in.
Yes I have my notification blue slider switches set correctly. I have the slider switch for low battery notification turned off as it is winter cold temps in MN where I live. I already know when it warms up 20 degrees or so, the low battery indicator will shut back off saying battery is ok. However with the notification selection off, the damn app sends me low battery alarm notification anyway.
This is simply yet another example of yes Blink cameras work. However, the system as a package giving consistent and reliable results is something that does not work. The mobile app has all kinds of unreliable inconsistent problems. There is no way in hell I could recommend the Blink system to do real home security protection much less operate in a commercial environment aka protect somebody’s business.
