I know people love to experiment with what can we make it do. However, there is no incentive for the majority of Blink users to go down the rechargeable AA size battery path.

Ring brand camera knows better than to screw around with rechargeable AA option. They went down the external battery pack and solar path instead. This option is available for Blink also via 3rd party sellers.
For those that love to experiment, great and have fun doing it. I’m surprised nobody has yet to post about a wind powered solution for recharging AA size batteries.
