Cameras need to be able to trigger routines in Alexa. Routines need to be able to arm individual cameras. Until those two features are integrated, this is a 2 star product at best.
As a standalone system, I am happy with the cameras and features. But a standalone camera system is a table stakes product for most of us. The acquisition by Amazon happened long enough ago that the integration with Alexa should be much more robust. A skill that allows you to see your front door on your Echo Show is a parlour trick. How that became a prioritized feature over native device support via Alexa routines is difficult to understand.
It is possible that the Alexa team is intentionally blocking these features in order to maintain the premium position of its other brand, Ring. I have 7 blink cameras, but they may end up on craigslist if I can’t use them to turn on lights, or arm specific cameras along with all the other actions when I say “Alexa, lock it up”
