There are literally HUNDREDS of previous conversations in this community forum, facebook, amazon, etc. regarding the battery level indicator is not accurate. In reality it is full, full, full, then dead as this is the way lithium batteries operate. These are not lithium ion batteries that everyone is used to in their mobile devices.
Regarding 2 year battery life, again hundreds of conversations about this. 2 year is actually up to two years depending on many usage factors that Blink qualifies on their websites. However, it is rarely qualified in their advertising. So much so, that is is borderline false advertising in my opinion. Nevertheless, batteries are dirt cheap to replace so nothing is ever done about the kinda sorta fake news advertising.
The bottom line is you are spending hundreds of dollars on a package of devices. Do your homework before you buy rather than after you buy., There is way too much information available at your fingertips. Glad you got it fixed with new batteries. .
