Maybe they only left it on for people they like
Maybe it is location specific. I just thought there might be a problem with Android (if that’s what you’re running). I’m in the U.S. I just noticed you’re in TX. I lived near Abilene until about 3 years ago.
I have it! Noticed it about a week or so ago, I’m in SC
I’m in their good graces again - it’s back!
Why has this only been enabled for XT2 users? What about your customers who have supported your product from day one (Kickstarter) and have indoor blink units and the original XT unit. This is a feature myself and all users have asked from the start and it’s only rolling out to XT2 users. Come on!
Could be due to the fact that it’s a beta, could be some hardware changes of the XT2 allow for the option, but the XTs and indoors lack said upgrades.
Could be that they aren’t developing for those anymore.
I personally think it’s a disgrace if they do not roll this out to all their products which are still current and for sale. This feature should of been on all their camera’s from day one. Personally if they don’t roll it out I’m stripping the system and go with a more reliable and resourceful competitor. Another company gone to the wall with a corporate talk over.
See my reply to your other post.
It’s odd, same numbers of your firmware, sync module, app. No beta Early notification yet.
Btw it would be extremely useful if Blink can send with the early notification also a pic (or a 1 second video).
I’ve setup the sensibility to the high 9 setup but i always loose the first few seconds of the movement …
I have 3x XT2 cameras and this option is not there for any of them.
I am based in UK, do you think that only US systems have been updated?
I have it on my XT2, but not my XT cams. I also signed up for the Beta program. It’s very cool so far.
Any idea if this will ever be available in European market?
To follow up on my question above… I contacted Blink customer support and they confirmed that this feature should be rolled out to other supported markets (Europe) in due course=soon.
How “soon” they didnt mentioned, so crossing fingers it wont take months…
It installed my cameras this morning and that early notification “BETA” switch is set to ON, but still takes several seconds to get a notification. By then the person is long gone.
if you mean new cameras then you wont be on the beta programme so it wont work
