Closest camera, poorest wifi

Hello

I have 2 cameras, one front of house and one at the rear.

My router is in the living room and camera 1 is about 3m away. Camera 2 is about 20m away from the router but only about 3m from my range extender.

Camera 2 WiFi is the issue with only 1 or 2 bars when the extender is using the same SSID and password as the router.

I decided to try the WiFi extender with a different SSID and changed the WiFi via the app and connected to the new SSID. Camera 1 still gets full bars and camera 2, despite being closest still only gets 1 or 2 bars?

Seems no matter what, camera 2 will not take full WiFi? Any idea?

Delete camera 1 from your system. Then reinstall it in the camera 2 physical location and make camera 1 use the wifi extender. This will tell you if camera 2 is bad or not.
