To be fair, I had a chipmunk run up to my front door and then run off and it also triggered the indoor Blink camera I have mounted on the porch. I checked and I have sensitivity set to 5.
Last night, I left my Blink XT armed and set the sensitivity to 8 and had 3 or 4 alerts. I couldn’t see any obvious triggers on those videos. I did see a few flying insects but they weren’t seen until the middle of the video. So either something triggered the camera and moved away before the video capture started, or a heat difference somewhere was enough to trigger it.
The previous night, I probably had upwards of 10 alerts but I believe I did have it set to a sensitivity level of 9. Only 3 of those had obvious causes - 2 were due to a rabbit and another seems to have been triggered by a plane flying by. The odd thing is that I had the “end clip of motion not detected” setting activated and it stopped the plane video even though the plane was still moving, so I’m still not 100% sure what triggered that particular video.
