I have two sync modules connected to my home network (one XT and one original). They’re both on the same vlan (as well as their associated cameras)… I have two access points broadcasting the same SSID for this vlan. When I take down one access point, all of my clients roam to the next access point without any issue or interruption (even clients on the same vlan as my blink sync modules). However, my blink sync modules will not roam. Is this a limitation of the blink system? If so, can this be upgraded in the software or is this a hardware limitation?
I can get the sync modules to move (“manually roam”) by having the undesired access point unplugged and then manually power cycle the sync module and it will come back and connect to the desired access point. I can then plug in the undesired access point and unplug its power again without issue, but once I remove power from the access point the sync module is currently on, it will not move to the secondary access point. Any help or info on this is appreciated.
