Recently had my blink hacked into, does anyone have a good solution for this? Is there a two factor authentication? We have two separate camera systems, on YI Home and Two Blinks. We were able to catch the Blink camera light up as well as make a noise. However we have no video or any recordings. Very creepy and sends chill bumps knowing someone has been watching my girlfriend and I.
1.) Change password.
2.) Contact customer support. The cameras record an impressive amount of detail. They can tell you who/what accessed the camera, and where the clip went.
What kind of noise did it make?
Regarding two factor auth…lots of discussion regarding this over the last couple of weeks. Use the search function to read those articles.
I feel your pain. It’s creepy, for sure.
You’ve heard it before. Use a strong password. Don’t use the same password on multiple devices/apps. Use a password manager.
Unless Blink was hacked, this is squarely on your shoulders.
Honestly from the video it sounds like a horn noise, however I wasn’t in the actual room. My girlfriend proceeds to start saying hello, hello, thinking I was talking through the blink. I’ve contacted customer support to gain some data on this as well as exporting the video and am now analyzing/editing the sound. Going to try to make it more clear.
