Not the intended use case scenario, nor the design plan. Hardware incapable of running continuously on current models, which should be obvious from the huge temperature rise after multiple live view sessions, in a row, and, there is no way they would want to provide all that extra required bandwidth, for free. Clearly this is not what they set out to achieve, and they can’t just change their mind, with the existing hardware. Might it be offered on a new product, who knows, maybe, but I’d be hugely surprised if it ever appears on existing models for what was clearly intended to be a low use, battery operated, long lasting, and totally remote, wifi camera system.
Let’s face it, these cameras were designed to run, on average, for 50 seconds per day, and not 24/7, which is a huge difference. These two types of systems present entirely different design challenges and goals. Makes zero sense to try and achieve both with the same unit.
As Ron implied, if that’s what you want, you will have to look elsewhere. If you wait, and hope, you will be disappointed.
