When it first came out as a Beta product, I did various tests and found it to help with false positive activations. However I also referred to it as a filter, not a blocker. Back then, it had no capability of blocking out vehicles - items with heavy/large IR heat signatures. Somewhere buried deep in the archives is an explanation to how it actually worked via comparing pixels if I recall correctly.
In any case, there is a long history now of beta features coming out, being tested by existing customers, and then feedback on this community forum. Tweaks here and there via app and firmware updates. However no notifications that the beta feature is out of beta and has made it to fully function level.
Here is the problem, those beta items are being sold on new cameras as fully functioning features with absolutely no mention of it working kinda sorta aka like a beta product feature. Those beta features work like beta features. They do not fully function consistently IF this is true, Blink has high potential for getting spanked by the courts. Word search “beta” and lots of reading could reveal a truth to my hunches.
